House plants bring life and color to any room. Not only do houseplants look great, but they also have numerous benefits for your health.



Studies have shown that a bit of indoor greenery can have a positive impact on mental health, with benefits including reduced stress levels, increased creativity, and improved moods. Your houseplants can also help to purify the air by absorbing harmful pollutants and emitting oxygen.


Houseplants don’t just look good—they can make us feel good, too. So why not bring a little piece of nature indoors?


Try out these beginner houseplants for home:


Pothos - Angel Plants


Pothos are one of the easiest low-maintenance plants to grow at home. This well known trailing vine, native to the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific, has pointed, heart-shaped green leaves that are sometimes variegated with white, yellow, or pale green striation


Pothos thrive in bright or indirect sunlight, making them suitable for almost any room.


Croton

The Croton is a beautiful and easy to grow houseplant. These tropical plants are known for their brightly colored foliage, which may feature pops of green, scarlet, orange, and yellow splotches.


Crotons are also relatively easy to care for, provided you give them plenty of bright light and water them regularly.


Monsterra

According to Monstera Plant Resource Center, there are 48 species of Monstera plants, but you'll only find a few in your local nursery. The split-leaf philodendron known as Monstera deliciosa is a stunning climbing evergreen known for its dramatic leaves featuring swiss-chess like holes.


Monstera thrive year-round. Keep them in shaded indirect sunlight, watering only when the soil is dried.


Fiddle Leaf Fig

Fiddle-leaf figs are a beautiful choice for an indoor plant. Their unique appearance makes them a real eye-catcher, and they are sure to add a touch of elegance to any room.


Fiddle-leaf figs are relatively easy to care for, making them a great option for those who are new to houseplants. Keep them in a stable environment with bright light and water bi weekly.
